Friday September 3rd at the Carmel/Center Grove Football game, the Center Grove Education Foundation gave out one of its A.C.E.S. awards during halftime.
 
Our winners were the teachers and students that organized the National Association of Student Council Convention held at CGHS this past summer.
 
Congratulations to NASC for making all of us in CG proud!

Wizard Of Oz

The Center GrovEducation Foundation is proud, once again, to announce its partnership with Missoula Children's Theatre.  This fall, Missoula and CGEF will be presenting, "The Wizard of Oz."

 

Auditions will be held from 4:30-6:30 on Monday, September 13th at Center Grove High School and are open to all students in grades K-8 who reside in the Center Grove school district. No advance preparation  is  required. Approximately 60 students will be chosen to participate in the production, including approximately 4 assistant directors (ages 10+). Students chosen for certain roles will stay for rehearsal that night until 9:00 p.m.

REHEARSALS: Additional rehearsals will be held September 14th-17th from 4:30 - 9:00 p.m. (including a short dinner break) at Center Grove High School; not all roles will have to be present at all rehearsals. A dress rehearsal will be held for all roles on the morning of September 18th. Students who are cast in the production will be required to attend all rehearsals scheduled for their particular role, as well as both performances.

PERFORMANCES: Performances will be held September 18th at 2:00 and 5:00 in the Center Grove High School Performing Arts Center.

COST: There is no cost to audition. For those students receiving a role in the production, the cost will be $75 per child, which will include two adult tickets to a performance. The cost for each additional child from the same family will be $60, which will not include additional tickets. Fees are payable on September 13th following auditions.

TICKETS: Advance sale tickets will be $6/adult, $4/student. Tickets will be sold at the door for $8/adult, $6/student.

REGISTRATION: Registration is required to audition; completed registration forms must be postmarked by September 10th, 2010.   Please have your child at the audition by 4:15p.m. to sign-in; students arriving after 4:30 p.m. will not be permitted to audition.

The Center Grove Education Foundation is pleased to announce a partnership with the Center Grove Middle School Central Music Department.
